The Stop the violence art show was inspired by the ongoing traumatic events that happened in and out of the media. The show’s creator, Mahala Preudhomme, was raised in Winston Salem, NC, but she lived two years in the Crenshaw district of Los Angeles. The passing of Nipsey Hussle deeply impacted her. Living in Los Angeles she experienced the love and positivity Nipsey influenced in the area. Amongst this tragic event came the realization that we live in a society that violence is the norm. This HAS TO STOP. Preudhomme Art & Design continuously strives to give back to the community that has influenced the brand. This art show is another way of doing so. A portion of these proceeds will go to multiple anti violence, nonprofit organizations, which aid victims of domestic violence, gun violence, childhood traumas, victims and their loved ones.
